For Andrew, honesty is extremely important; He is always willing to have open and honest conversations with his employees, establishing a sense of trust with the team, which promotes respect and a willingness to follow him. Every employee in the company feels valued as they know that Andrew takes the time to communicate with them and tell them the truth. To display honesty, aim to provide your employees with the information they need to know directly. “Focus, Honesty, and active prayer life, staying informed are of utmost importance to me and I follow these principles closely,” says Andrew. “Knowledge helps me to make informed decisions and proactively address challenges and see upcoming growth opportunities and emerging markets. Hence, I can take the essential risks and also ensure that the company is surging ahead.”
Communications Professionals, Inc. has been in business for over 25 years and have used their faith and intuiting to maneuver and successfully grow the business , Andrew operates as a business mentor and in 2012 was issued a special tribute from the then Michigan Governor Granholm because it had come to her attention he had assisted over 100 Michigan base business and that number is still growing. Alongside, Andrew has also served on the board of Directors for the Michigan Chamber of Commerce from 1998- 2004 which is among many of his achievements, but his greatest achievement is being happily married to his wife Verlinda for over 48 Years and raising two successful children, Nathaniel and Jonathan.
Becoming A Leader
As a steadfast leader, Andrew believes in embracing failures and regards them as learning opportunities. This lesson emphasizes that setbacks and failures are not the end of the road but rather valuable opportunities for growth and improvement. “When you approach challenges with a mindset that views failures as steppingstones to success, you can learn from your mistakes, adapt, and ultimately achieve your goals,” explains Andrew. “It promotes a culture of continuous improvement, where individuals and organizations are always striving to do better and learn from their experiences.”
Andrew has been in business for over three decades and regards success today differently from what he called it years ago. “I didn’t find success, success found me. I always advise everyone to locate people of integrity and honesty that are in the position you are striving for, be transparent when dealing with people, and always to put God first.”
According to Andrew, success often requires dedication and perseverance. Hence, every leader should be prepared to put in the effort and continue working toward their goals despite challenges and setbacks. They need to be open to learning and acquiring new skills throughout their journey as the world is constantly changing, and staying adaptable and informed is crucial. Success often requires dedication and perseverance. “Don’t be afraid to ask for feedback from mentors, colleagues, or trusted individuals. Constructive criticism can help you improve and grow,” he adds.
