June 15, 2020: As Slack, the leading collaboration and messaging tool have announced permanent work from home for many of the employees and they said they would further focus on hiring more and more people who can permanently work from home and the current employees have an option to choose to work from home or come to office after the pandemic situation.

We do not know how the work will look lie tomorrow in this pandemic situation however the Slack team is working continuously with multiple options given and keeping in focus on employee safety as well. The company SVP announced this on its blog last week stating the changes and continuing the WFH option for the employees.

Creditcard.com survey states that more than 38% of the people in the United States choose to work from home even after the pandemic end. It is said that many major companies are happened to open and function actively from September 1st however; people choose to do work from home where possible by staying with their family.

It is also reported that there is an increase in the monthly expense by $108 on an average. The lowest increase is seen in childcare, grocery, gas, etc.
