July 23, 2020: 52 straight nights of protest in Portland and, we could see 1,000+ protestors attacking and damaging all around the streets. The Monday protest will leave three Federal officers permanently blind due to the attack by the protestors late-night shiny laser lights were targeted on the eyes of Federal officers with throwing fireworks.

FPS, Deputy Director of Operations Cline, said at the press conference that, there were more than 1,000+ protestors across the street attacking the Hatfield Federal Courthouse started removing the plywood covered and attacked the Federal officers with laser lights and fireworks were thrown.

Protestors set fire in several places across the building “When officers responded to put out these fires, glass bottles were thrown and lasers – which can cause permanent blindness – were shined in their eyes,” Cline said. “We have three officers who currently have eye injuries and, they may not recover sight in those eyes from those laser attacks.”

A total of 7 protestors arrested in the Monday night incident, the federal officers responded for the fireworks with tear gas and pepper balls to control the situation. To protect from the laser attack the Federal officer are given anti-laser glasses to protect themselves from the attacks.
