June 19, 2020: The death of George Floyd has set a fire in the people and, the fight against the racial discrimination and police brutality has stepped into action. More than 84 police officers got fired due to misconduct and racial comments.

Former police officer Sgt. Jeff Annunziata, a 62 year was fired yesterday for a racial email sent to the Mayor and other media groups writing his thoughts on the current situation in the country. Mr. Annunziata commented on using the race card to stop the protest.

The officer was fired immediately after the internal investigation and also commented on the language and tone used in the email was wrong.

The officer has also made his point in support with other police officers and how police forces try to support the citizens and get the situation in control but, the people do not understand the same. He also questioned the media organization asking why the police deaths and the police injury is not covered. Many police officers are injured, some are dead and some are injured for a lifetime. Why the media is not bothered and focused on things in an imbalanced way. “Where is the protest for the police life” when we discussed breaking the amendment and the rule why the police life not mattered questioned the officer.

The officer wrote, “Mr. mayor how many officers need to be hurt before you speak out.” He also wrote, “The ‘deep state’ media, reporters are responsible and the ‘radical’ liberal politicians are right behind them.”

Concluded the email with “always look for a peaceful resolution, but when we are confronted with dissension, weapons of all kinds and argument we have a job to do and hopefully with peaceful results. As we know this does not happen when a law is broken and the suspect. Citizen does not understand what they have done, was done wrong and against the law.”
