June 9, 2020: Reports which was published on Monday says the United States has controlled the spread of corona virus across the country by the lockdown and shutting down many of the business across all states. It is said that if the lockdown was not implemented then the cases would rise to 60 million.

However,  22 states saw a jump in the coronavirus last week due to the protest and not maintaining the social distancing. More than 1.9 million people are infected and the death count crosses 110,000 in the country. More than 22 states are seeing an upward mark in the coronavirus count while only 8 states hold it steady with the infection.

The highest hike was seen from Florida with roughly 40%+ from the last week where other states are entering phase 2 of reopening. “Yesterday, more than 136,000 cases were reported — the most in a single day so far,” Tedros said Monday. “Almost 75% of yesterday’s cases come from 10 countries, mostly in the Americas and South Asia.”

While the virus is transmitted even through breathing to the person next to who is infected, the streets are flooded with people around protesting for the justice of the expert’s advice to take necessary precautions so that we can control the spread across the country.

It is very important to follow the below-mentioned precautions:

• Wear a mask while you go for the protest
• Maintain distance between each other and continue your protest
• Do not participate in the protest if you are feeling feverish or any symptoms
• Consult the doctor and get yourself tested to avoid further consequences

We can only stop and reduce the spread of the corona virus if everyone follows the guidelines and maintain social distancing in the current scenario.
