Coronavirus hospitalization declines for the first time in the United States

July 20, 2020: As the pandemic continues to rise all over the country, people tend to panic with the situation. The first time since June 28, the country has seen a slight drop in the number of cases hospitalization. The count dropped from 57,705 to 57,562 on Sunday.

However, a total of 40 states are at a peak by reporting a high rate of infection. Texas reported the highest of all-time death and, Florida cases serge to peak on Sunday as well. The cases increase across the country with an average of 70,000 infections every day. We cannot conclude the counts is going to reduce, but a slightly positive sign give hopes in the people’s mind.

As the vaccine remains in the trial phase of testing, controlling this spread is next to impossible in this stage. It is too late for Trump to react and take measures which he never took seriously in the initial days.

Arizona is at the lowest hospitalization count with Texas reported a decline as well. Both states have reported a low percentage of positivity. Both Texas and Arizona reported high death rates last week.

Florida is running short with the number of ICUs to admit new cases as the count increases every day. It is not clear whether the drop in a few states are an indication of decreasing corona cases, or is there a second wave hitting the United States.
