House throwing large parties in Los Angeles may disrupt water supply

August 6, 2020: Mayor Eric Garcetti made a statement yesterday to stop water and power supply to the houses or businesses who are organizing parties repeatedly in this pandemic situation. The increase in coronavirus cases are  affected the local health and, the gatherings are restricted with the number of people.

“Starting Friday night if the LAPD responds and verifies that a large gathering is occurring at the property and if we see these properties reoffending time and time again, they will provide notice and initiate the process to request the DWP shut off services within the next 48 hours,” said Mayor on Wednesday.

Mayor said parties are seen in vacant houses, and short term rented houses like Airbnb in the surrounding and, there will be strict actions taken. Few YouTubers and influencers were throwing a party in the last week. There were parties in and around that were captured by the police through helicopter and will be reported shortly.

There was gunfire seen last week in the surroundings and two injured in the gunfire. The party was organized by an unknown NFL Player, that the police are trying to trace the same.  The warning was escalated by Mayor in the press conference yesterday.
